OKRs, agile leadership and Prussian generals - or why do OKRs work so well in agile organisations?

I experienced OKRs as a great addition to agile organisations, bridging the gap between agile strategy and agile execution. Digging a little into the subject, it turned out that the whole idea of outcome-based management goes back to the Prussians and Napoleon. Who would have thought? Let's have an exchange of ideas over the subject and see where this leads us!
